My name is Keri Plezia.
I build and design unique and creative Stained Glass windows.
I lived in Wickenburg, Arizona for over 10 years and was able to do custom work in over 100 homes.
I crafted and installed Side Lights for many homes front entry ways, Palladium Windows above doors, Sky Lights, Cabinet Doors, Sliding Doors, Bathroom Shower Doors and Custom Lighting like Wall Sconces and Lamps.
I was born in Chicago and raised in the North Valley of Phoenix, Arizona.
I am currently living in Tucson, Arizona and I’m enjoying this part of our beautiful and diverse country.
I have a degree in Graphic Art and I also attended many other art classes all over the Valley of the Sun in Phoenix Arizona.
I stumbled into Stained Glass 20 years ago when I signed my husband and myself up for a workshop class. It was a family owned, Mother – Daughter shop that was located in the old newspaper building in down town Glendale, Arizona. Alice and Kim taught Stained Glass,
(both forms of construction) as well as Lamp Work Glass Bead Making, Glory Hole work, Sand Blasting, Kiln Fusing and more.
I am lucky to have had the opportunity to have learned all these skills.
I have built my business around Stained Glass and other fun things like mosaics and glass fusing.
I just graduated from my longest running client and biggest supporter, Zia CD and Record Exchange. 18 years…I am gonna miss them.
I love to construct Stained Glass Windows, Doors and Cabinets for new home construction, remodels and businesses BUT I also enjoy all my other FUN things like jewelry and wearable altered art.
Kathy Cano Murillo a dear freind from my old days at “Arizona Arts and Cratfs” AND “The Willo House” invited me to join her art group The PHOENIX FRIDAS. (We were awarded “BEST LATINA ART COLLECTIVE” in theThe Phoenix New Times.
It has been fun and rewarding working with such talented ladies. We all have a ball working with each other and have done some fun projects like getting to strut our stuff on TV shows like
Uncommon Treads and CRAFT LAB.
(I also was a featured guest on Crafters Coast To Coast and That’s Clever as well.)
I always enjoy the challenge of repairing and reconstructing antique windows for churches and historic homes AND I like to restore vintage and antique lamps as well.
If you’d like to speak with me about designing that perfect custom piece, just for you, feel free to contact me here any time.
